Organisation of technical structures
Hydroarch's technical structures relies upon professional experience and working means of members, staff, collaborators and associated companies.
In particular Hydroarch, thanks also to the university activity of some of its members, in the Department of Hydraulics, Transport and Highways of Rome University, has developed special fully automated project implementation techniques.
These techniques have been developed and are applied with the use of high-capacity computers and of "intelligent" peripheral units such as plotters, digitizers, video-graphic units, etc.
The considerable pool of mathematical and physics programs applied to the relevant designs, together with the great elasticity and flexibility of the organization, gives Hydroarch unquestioned competitiveness regarding costs, quality and above all the use of traditional techniques.

C. Geographical information systems
"GHEO" Program, projected and realized for the management of Geographical Information Systems (G.I.S.): it allows to treat graphic information in an integrated approach (entities and topological relationships graphics coordinates) and descriptive information associated to it.
GHEO runs on DOS (extensive), UNICS, Windows NT, Windows 95 operating systems.
It uses an architecture client-server with AutoCAD interface based on SQL most common report database for descriptive information management.
GHEO graphics data inside structure manages G.I.S.. information quickly and efficiently assuring connectivity and lowest cost of Standard Personal Computer.
C language dedicated modules provides special features to AutoCAD, allowing a data base integrated management:
- Graphic Data Base (GDB),
- Descriptive Data Base (DDB),
- Raster Images Data Base (RDB).
GHEO allows network infrastructures management both in pressure (water and gas) and gravity (sewerages), data base management, Geographical Information Systems for property tax equity management (urban monitoring to collect municipal tax) through:
- Land Office data base management;
